The Hotel Zamora Reopens After Renovation, Introducing Azura Coastal Kitchen & Bar

$7.5 million redevelopment marks Sherman Associates’ first completed project in Florida

{ST. PETE BEACH, FLA., January 13, 2025}—The Hotel Zamora in St. Pete Beach has reopened after the completion of a $7.5 million renovation, elevating it to a 4-star luxury hotel. Alongside the renewed hotel, debuts Azura Coastal Kitchen & Bar, formerly known as Castille, serving a seaside culinary experience celebrating coastal charm with fresh, locally sourced ingredients and flavors.

Completed by national developer, Sherman Associates, the extensive renovations at the hotel and restaurant enhance the guest experience for both visitors and locals with updated guest rooms and suites and a revitalized rooftop offering panoramic views of the Gulf of Mexico, downtown St. Pete, and the Intracoastal Waterway. The redevelopment of The Hotel Zamora marks Sherman’s first completed project in Florida.

The 64 newly renovated guest rooms and suites, each boasting 550 SF or more, feature Mediterranean-inspired style with spa showers, a high-end air purification system, and vitamin C infused shower treatments. The pool and pool bar, tanning deck, and gym have been refined to serve the needs of leisure and business travelers.

Guests will enjoy beach access and accommodations including a private marina, complimentary beach cruisers and kayaks, and beach chairs and umbrellas.

Located inside The Hotel Zamora, Azura Coastal Kitchen & Bar blends local Florida ingredients with Mediterranean-inspired cooking. Guests can select indoor or outdoor seating on the terrace with views of the Intracoastal Waterway. The Azura Rooftop offers drinks and lounge seating with panoramic views.

The Hotel Zamora offers nearly 14,000 SF of versatile meetings and events space in both indoor and outdoor settings. The Hotel Zamora is accepting wedding bookings for 2025 and 2026.
